CollegeNET provides software as a service (SaaS) applications to improve efficiency, save money, and reduce paper associated with various administrative functions, including online admissions and application evaluation, contact relationship management, course and event scheduling, space and resource management, faculty and course evaluation, accounts payable management, and commencement. Over 1,300 colleges, universities and non-profits including Stanford University, Princeton University, University of Michigan, University of Oregon, University of Washington and Oregon State University now use the web-based administrative services provided and hosted by CollegeNET
CollegeNET also operates Mach 25, a scholarship search engine, and CollegeNET.com, a social networking forum which awards weekly scholarships and quarterly grand prize scholarships totaling up to $100,000. The scholarship elections are based on a unique voting process and points earned for participation.
History
Founded as Universal Algorithms, Inc., the company changed its name to CollegeNET,Inc. in May 1999.
CollegeNET has been awarded several patents for its web-based forms technology.
