Kansas Wesleyan University is a private four-year Christian-based college founded in Salina, Kansas, United States in 1886. It is affiliated with the United Methodist Church. About 850 students attend the 28-acre (110,000 m2) campus. The university is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, the National League for Nursing, the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE), and the Kansas State Department of Education.

The university's academic program provides a liberal arts foundation comprising more than 27 major programs granting MBA, BA, BS, BSN, AA, and AAS degrees. Additionally, the university offers online degrees in emergency management, criminal justice and the Master of Business Administration (MBA). The average class size is 16 students, with a student-to-teacher ratio of 14:1.

KWU is a member of the Associated Colleges of Central Kansas (ACCK), a consortium of six academic institutions located within 70 miles (110 km) of KWU's campus, through which students may enroll in courses and resources. KWU is also a member of the 18-member Kansas Independent College Association.

Kansas Wesleyan has more than 30 clubs and organizations including yearbook, an on-campus, student-run television and radio station, and numerous music and athletics opportunities. The Kansas Wesleyan Debate and Forensics Team competes in national tournaments with large, state institutions, and has won 30 national titles. The eSports club team, which competes in League of Legends, Overwatch, Rocket League, Hearthstone and Smash Bros., also competes nationally. It has a full-time head coach and scholarships are available.

Kansas Wesleyan University teams are known as the Coyotes. The university is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and competes in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC). Men's sports include baseball, basketball, cross country, football, golf, soccer, tennis, track & field, wrestling, and bowling; women's sports include basketball, cheerleading, cross country, dance, soccer, softball, tennis, track & field, bowling, and volleyball. The university also offers a competitive eSports club team.
